Dreamz Drywall & Contracting was founded by Joe Allison — a Red Seal certified tradesman with over two decades of hands-on drywall and interior finishing experience.
He started in the trade young, and after 20-plus years of working on everything from small residential repairs to large-scale commercial renovations, he built Dreamz around one idea: specialize in what you're best at, and deliver work you'd put your name on.
Joe is still the one you'll talk to when you call for an estimate. He's on-site, involved in every project, and personally accountable for the finished result. That's how this company operates: the founder isn't just behind a desk. He's on the job.

Can you handle bigger projects like full basement renovations?
That's a big part of what we do. Full basement builds — framing, insulation, vapour barrier, drywall, mudding, taping, trim, doors, and painting — all handled under one roof. You don't need to coordinate multiple trades.
Are you insured?
Yes. Dreamz Drywall & Contracting carries full liability insurance on every project.
Do I need to be home while you work?
For the initial estimate, yes — we like to walk through the space with you so nothing gets missed. After that, many homeowners give us access and go about their day. Whatever works for you.
How much does drywall repair cost?
It depends on the damage. A small patch might run a couple hundred dollars. A full basement finish is a bigger investment. The best way to get a real number is to book a free estimate — we'll give you a clear price with no surprises.
What's the difference between mudding and taping?
Taping covers the seams between drywall sheets with paper or mesh tape. Mudding is the joint compound applied over the tape (and screw holes) to create a smooth, paintable surface. Both are standard in any drywall install or repair we do.
